Description
Destined to be one of 2022's most hailed and talked-about releases, 'Immutable' once again showcases Meshuggah's collective brilliance, including some of the most jaw-dropping ensemble performances they have ever executed. Since forming in 1987, the Swedish sound architects known as Meshuggah developed into one of the most technically complex and virtuosic group of players the metal realm has ever encountered, their distinctly unique brand of progressive groove-infused death metal inadvertently launching an entirely new subgenre. Recorded in Sweden's Sweetspot Studios, their ninth full-length album 'Immutable' is the follow-up to their highly acclaimed and Grammy nominated album, 'The Violent Sleep of Reason'.

Can't go wrong. Every song is great. Only thing I wish they did different was have Black Cathedral lead into I Am That Thirst seamlessly. Also something is wrong with the cd's. I've bought 2 of these so far and both have started skipping just days after I bought them. When I look them over they are absolutely immaculate. The first CD is a lost cause for some reason. Even though it looks immaculate, it starts skipping on the intro of Ligature Marks and almost every song after. The 2nd one I bought started skipping on Black Cathedral so I pulled it out of the stereo to find nothing but a few specks of dust on it. I wiped it off and put it back in and there was no more skipping. It really is an anomaly. I have CD's covered in scratches that don't skip and these skip with a couple specks of dust. Just really odd.
