I recently discovered on the Pig website that this album was re-released on vinyl, but it was sold out. I was very upset until I noticed that Amazon had it for a reasonable price. This album consists of 2 Pig EPs that were released as an LP back in the 90s. The songs on this album are classic Pig that include The Fountain of Miracles, The Seven vails, One Meatball and Ojo por ojo. Find it, f*** it, forget it is also on here as well as several remixes. The red splatter vinyl is cool but to be honest I prefer black vinyl over colored vinyl. The brilliant packaging includes all the artwork with brilliant and beautiful gatefold design. Aside from the colored vinyl I can’t find anything that I don’t absolutely love about this album which is finally released on vinyl making this consumer of Watts meaty offering happy as a pig in a pen. Raymond Watts has always been one of my favorite artists of all time but his return to music in 2016 has been full of new releases, new tours and his previous work remastered and rereleased in all forms… I can’t wait for Sinsation… unless Nothing Records lost the masters. ?
