Under Cover was a pre order for me. Valerie June could sing the phone book and I’d be happy. So with that being said, my disappointment with Under Cover is that it clocks in UNDER thirty minutes. Valerie, was this CD some contractual obligation? Could you not have added a song or two from the likes of an Al Green, Bill Withers, Boz Scaggs, George Jones, Nilsson, Warren Zevon, Terry Allen…..well you get the picture-unlimited!
