I am very pleased with this statue. This particular portrayal of Buddha has always symbolized serenity and peace at the center of the storm to me, and I had been looking for an indoor statue (as opposed to the concrete outdoor ones) for some time, but most seemed to have odd expressions or bad paint jobs. This one is ideal; the white highlights bring out the features well, and the features portray calmness. There was one place where the white was a little overdone, but I had read that rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab, applied VERY GENTLY AND CAREFULLY, could take care of overenthusiastic painting on plastic objects without damaging the plastic underneath as other products might do, and that proved to be right. If you get one of these and decide it needs a little touching up, though, I would recommend trying this out first on some inconspicuous area in the back till you get the hang of it.
