I used this to unstoppable my guest bathroom tub when a shampoo cap fell down the drain. I used a regular drano and suction with a plunger followed by boiling water. Nothing.Before I called the plumber, I decided to order and try Baam Drain Cleaner.It really worked.Saved me about 75.00 and I was too impressed with how easy it was to use and the power from the product to clear my drain. Its been a couple of weeks and still draining very well.It cleared my drain. I had tried other drain clog removers, like the liquid chemical brands, only for them to still leave the drain clogged. A couple of shots with the air plunger and my drain opened up and has not been clogged since!! I would definitely recommend!Bathtub never drained so well . Highly recommend . Definitely read directions & support pipes under sinks . Packs a heck of a punch !I just bought this as a replacement for one that I bought over 10 years ago, This clears clogs far better than a plunger.I bought my BAAM in 2015. I have a slow sink that drives me nuts and honestly, the only real fix for 60 year old galvanized pipes is replumbing my home...that's on a 'to do' list for later :)So, I picked up the BAAM to see if it would fix the problems after I replaced the exposed traps, etc. in case they were the issue. They weren't...Anyway, BAAM worked like a champ. Blasted the clogs, and I'd have a better flowing drain again for a few months. Considering I bought this thing 5 years ago, and I've used it maybe 10 times, it's safe to say the thing will help with clogs...butHad a clog today between shower and toilet (they T together under the house). Figured I'd pull out the BAAM and blast the toilet as it has an odd opening that sort of swallows a regular plunger. 3 or 4 pumps in, and I got a BAAM, but not the one I was expecting. As you'll see from some other follk's pictures, there is a weak spot in the design at the top. There are plastic welds/clips that hold the top on, and apparently these will get weak over time.The 'pop' after just a few pumps was new and disappointing but it's been a rock star for 5 years. A testament to my thinking of the device is that I'm now ordering it again. :)I'm going to look into some kind of 'reinforcement' of the top on the new one to see if I can mitigate the stresses that cause the plastic to pop when worn. Maybe something using duct tape since we all know that stuff holds the universe together.This gets a 3 star just because it broke when trying to use it, but it lasted 5 years with intermittent use...that's a square middle-of-the-road performance that gets a middle-of-the-road rating :) I like it, but I think they could make some improvements on the design.Does what it says it will do. However, word of warning, VERY high pressure if pumped uo to uch. I could see where if used without care that it might just blow plastic piping joints apartI was a bit skeptical, but the pump did the trick! I had a very slow draining problem in my bathroom sink, and BAMM! cleared it. It took three times to clear it completely, but it's still clear after day three! Select the proper nozzle for your drain....1-1/2" did it for me. Secondly, hang on tightly to the body of the pump, and pump the plunger in quick, hard strokes, until you've built up some pressure. Thirdly, and most importantly, push down HARD to secure the nozzle in the drain hole and to secure it with no leaks! My first attempt resulted in backsplashing of nasty wet black algae from the immediate opening of the drain. I held it securely for three times after that, and I could actually hear the drain being sucked out. This product works! Only 4 starts because it's plastic and I'm not sure how long it will last. But overall, I'm happy with it. Buy it!I have paid plumbers $75 and more to clear shower and sink drains. Baam did a better job with less mess. I pumped it up just below the level suggested, and it cleared a blocked shower stall drain in three tries. I just had a clogged bathroom sink that I plunged until I could not plunge any more. I thought I was going to need a plumber. But I tried Baam with only five charging pumps. (I was concerned because of the warning that the trap needed to be supported for full power.) It had an attachment that fit the sink drain perfectly. I held a sponge on the overflow hole and pulled the trigger. It cleared the drain like a charm.I think most of the failures noted in reviews were due to over charging the pump. I stay below a full charge, and Baam has worked well for me with no failures. It did make a bit of a mess in the shower on the first two tries, but I anticipated this. On the third try, the shower drained like new. The plumbers left more of a mess.Una bendición. Llevaba más de una semana con un inodoro tapado. Lo intenté todo: líquido destapacaños, una bomba manual y hasta una guía de 7 m, y lo único que logré fue terminar cansado, asqueado y con el mismo problema. Lo más fácil habría sido llamar a un plomero, pero luego de meses en cuarentena, la verdad no quise meter un desconocido a casa, así que comencé a buscar alternativas. Fue entonces que encontré esta bomba. Y voila!! Una grata sorpresa. Definitivamente la recomiendo. (No, no me dan un peso por esto).La verdad la compré para poder crear el efecto de explosión en una foto, de ahí en más está bien. Se carga con facilidad y el gatillo es muy sensible.Probé con muchos productos que decían que en 30 min se destapaba lo que fuera, nada funcionó, esta fue la última opción antes de llamar a un plomero. Funciona!!! Muchísimo! el lavabo estaba tapado y en menos de 1 min con esto se destapó. Buena inversión. Lo recomiendo muchollego a tiempo... no lo recomiendo si lo quieres principalmente para inodoro de baño (taza) ya q la medidano es compatible con baños nuevos... aparte se safa muy facil al hacer presion y no es funcional ni practico...Gran solución para destapar coladera y baños acumula gran presión a la hora del disparo
