I first tried this off a swap site for my grandkids to play with at my house! They ALL loved it! They are aged 1-5 and even the one year old loves it! Only thing I can say that was disappointing is that it does not pull the amount of weight that it states but the kids don't know that and have fun with it anyway!Grandson lovesThis truck was brought by Santa for my son and Wow its impressive. My son received an imaginext space rover which he can physically sit on and push around just because I am a Dad and us Dads always want to test the limits of everything. I hooked the chain up to the rover and it had no problem pull the rover and my child down a plush carpeted hallway. I tried again but let it push it and it had an even easier time. Now my son doesnt weigh anywhere near 200 lbs but this was a carpeted hallway that didnt provide the best traction and I was impressed im sure on hardwood or pavement thing truck would be a monster. The only thing I dislike about it and the reason I gave it 4 stars is it requires 6 C batteries something like this really needs a rechargeable battery pack cause I know one of these times my son is going to use it and he cant because I have to go to the store and spend 20 dollars on c batteries (exaggeration I know) but C and D cells are not the cheapest these days.My son loves this truck, although mostly not for its intended purpose. We bought it for him for Christmas because he loves monster trucks. The truck does pull him in his wagon or anything else he can sit in with wheels, but it won't pull my wife, who weighs much less than 200 lbs, so it doesn't work as advertised, but we really didn't expect it to either. It is very slow when in push/pull mode, so my son doesn't get much joy out of it pulling him, he much prefers just to push it around himself like a normal truck. The most enjoyment we've gotten out of it is setting up all his other cars in a line and having it run them all over. It won't pull anything on carpet, it does seem to need a hard surface to gain enough traction to pull/push. The controls aren't great either, for some reason, whenever you shift the truck, the default action is the turbo mode, unless the push or pull sensor on the front and back respectively, are triggered. Only then will it change to the push/pull mode. It's kind of annoying because if it gets away from my son and hits the wall, it then just shifts to push mode and unsuccessfully tries to push the wall over, causing paint damage to the wall. Also, since our favorite thing to do with it is to just have it run over other toy cars, it would be more fun if the default action was the slower push/pull mode in order to maximize our fun with it.My 6 year old grandson absolutely loves this tow truckI really love this truck. The size caught me by surprise at first because I forgot to check the dimensions. However it was perfect size for the 2 year old I got it for. The hook is a good size for throwing stuff which he loves. It takes 6 C batteries and is a little fast for his age without room for movement. But it's a toy that he can grow with in. The wheels are soft not hard plastic but durable which I like. When you turn off the truck it is perfect for the 2 year old boy to push and runs smoothly as he plays with it. His 5 year old sister loves it too, but she likes to turn it on and see it moves. The grey level can turn it on and off when it moves after you switch it on. It also says phrases. Even their Dad like experimenting with it to see what size/weight it can move. It is an all around family toy.My 3 yr son played with this at a friends house for HOURS! We were so excited to receive this but it turned into disappointment when we found out batteries (despite the description telling me they were included) were needed. Ideally there would be a volume adjustment as it is outrageously loud. It’s fun for little nuggets who are obsessed with cars, like mine. For the price.... I was very hesitant. I would have never ordered this had I didn’t see how much my son loved this.Overall this truck was a disappointment to my husband and I but my son loves it and that's all that really matters. His Christmas list was short, and this was the main thing on it. Since it was one of the "hot" toys of the year I ordered it because I was afraid if I waited to see a better price I wouldn't be able to get it. In my opinion this truck was extremely overpriced. It was unable to pull a 50lb grappling dummy and also was unable to pull an empty dining room chair. We tested it on carpet and bare floors. My son just turned 4 and this truck is able to pull some of his other trucks around, so to him this truck is awesome! Overall I would buy this again only if the price was $40 or less. However, it was Christmas and my son has been playing with it constantly, so I am glad I got it. It takes 6 C batteries, which is another pain, I wish it was either rechargeable or a different battery, but hey, the child is happy so mommy is happy
