This is nice and thick. I expect it to last many years. It cleans up quick & easily. I hung it out on the line the day it arrived. I think the smell was gone in about 48 hours. It came in a roll, then was sewn and folded up and packed to ship, so it will need to be aired out, but it smells fine afterward, no lingering fumes or anything. The Oilcloth they use comes on a roll that's a specific width. My 55" square tablecloth has seams because the roll is not that wide. So expect seams in a larger size. But mine falls nicely over the edges of the table. The seams don't make any real difference; just know this is a reality of the material they use to make these. I love the look, especially with the gingham edge. It is colorful, cheerful and most important, it's a really useful household item. And truly gorgeous. No regrets, even at this price. Would definitely recommend.
