This carrier has traveled thousands of miles in car and on a plane. I've had it for 15 years maybe more. It is simply the best carrier ever. It's easy to carry. Comfortable, durable, and safe. The fabric and straps are heavy duty. The well padded cushion has held up incredibly well and is well secured to the carrier with velcro so no slipping around while the vehicle is in motion. It has fiberglass rods for the arches and slots for securing the carrier with a seatbelt. I suggest using a seatbelt clip for the seatbelt just as you would with a child carseat. While this product is not listed by the Center for Pet Safety it has proven itself to us to be secure, safe, durable and very well made over more than a decade of use. The customer service is amazing. They are quick to respond and very helpful.
