Most bell peppers are harvested when they are still green, but when left to mature on the plant for a longer length of time, some peppers will turn shades of red, yellow or even purple. I planted these seeds and none germinated. The vendor was awesome and sent some more and none of them germinated either. I planted these in starter soil in flats. They were planted at the same time as I planted Hirts squash, california green peppers, Boston cucumbers, northern cucumbers, and long cucumbers. All other Hirts seeds did awesome and none (zero) of these grew. Hirts was even more awesome and refunded my money even after sending me replacements to try. Hirts is GREAT. These seeds were BAD for me. Out of my entire garden these were the only failures of about 300 plants from seeds. The seeds did not germinate, at least not yet. It's been going on four weeks and notta, not one seedling poking through soil.
