I bought two of these kits for me and my six year old son to put together so he could give them to family members for Christmas gifts. He painted them on his own, but the actual construction of them required my assistance. The instructions are pretty straight forward. We didn’t have any issues until, as the previous reviewer mentioned, we tried to insert the dowel into the bottom. Too much pressure made one bottom completely split apart. We ended up having to wood glue and clamp it together. In the end, it worked out fine, but it’s still something to make mental note of when you are putting it together. Be gentle and twist and turn the dowel into the bottom.I’ve uploaded some pictures of the project, from start to finish. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality, and the end result is nice.
