I purchased the large. I've put this in the bottom dishwasher tray with all the extra heat and sanitation features, no melting or color loss.The bottom seed trap doesn't always want to stay locked in place and is a little annoying to get locked down. The tabs that lock it are too small of a bump.For 2-3 people sharing the large would be good, but 2-3 smalls likely is more ideal.
