John Debney's score to the new live-action, big-screen adaptation of Clifford The Big Red Dog. Lovingly produced by Paramount Pictures, the warm tale of a girl and her super-sized dog gave Debney (Home Sweet Home Alone, Orville, Hocus Pocus) a chance to compose an effervescent, playful, and beautiful score with moments of grand aby a large orchestra of 60 players. As Debney mentions in his album note, "Clifford is one of the most beloved stories of all time so I jumped in with my heart filled with joy." That joy comes through loud and clear in the music, and in fact the joy can be seen in the all the actors who clearly felt the film was a labor of love.
