We have been using this vinyl since they were their former brand name and we are SOOOOO thankful that they are back. This is the best all-around vinyl EVER made.YES, you may have some trouble laying it on a mat (because the good quality of the vinyl and the carrier causes it to curve), but a little tape and you're good to go; it's not really as big of a deal as some crybabies make it. You may have to turn up your blade a bit higher than normal, but the carrier sheet is so solid, we've use a glitter setting and a flock setting for the regular htv and it has never cut through. NO, the backing is not SUPER sticky, but it shouldn't be. It is sticky though. Sticky enough. We use another brand for our stretch vinyl that is too sticky and too sticky is WORSE. The payout for the quality of this vinyl is worth any minor inconvenience that you may have.If you have a Silhouette where you can load the roll, it is the best because it is the full 12" wide, so we never have a problem with it coming off the track like some other brands that cheap out and make their vinyl 11.8" wide, etc. The price is great, especially for the unbeatable quality, and selling it in 5 yard increments makes it super affordable to get ALL the colors! =) We've used this on all types of garments and have seen our customers wear them again and again and it still look like new. We use it on our business and personal clothing as well, and we have garments over a year old that are still going strong.Normally, I don't leave reviews like this because I would love to keep this product as my best kept secret from all of you, LOL, but I cannot risk them not selling anymore because my company truly didn't know what we were going to do without them! I want them to bring back ALL their colors like chartreuse, hot pink, bubblegum, lime green and start selling new colors. I want them to grow to do stretch vinyl for Spandex. Their quality is way better than the low temp stretch vinyl we use now and easier to cut and weed.So in conclusion, if you are some kind of idiot that doesn't know how to do some minor troubleshooting, maybe this vinyl it's for you. As a matter of fact, crafting isn't for you. Get out the business, Dummy! But if you want good quality vinyl and happy customers, then buy every color and then buy some more! =DI had to do a lot of testing with this HTV. The instructions for application definitely did not work. I was using a cricut press for attaching the vinyl to a t-shirt that was a 50 cotton/50 poly blend. I found that heating for 120 seconds at 315oF then letting it cool for 2 minutes, then peeling off worked for me. But every so often the vinyl peeled off the t-shirt, and I would have to reheat and try again. Somewhat frustrating, but I couldn't find the lilac color from any other generic brands. I will probably go back to the non-generic brand after I've used up the 5 feet of lilac from merrymade. The heat transfer part of the process doesn't consistently work well.On a good note, the vinyl was very easy to weed. I used a pressure setting of 212 on a cricut machine for cutting, and that worked great.Overall, I wouldn't choose this brand again because the savings compared to the non-generic brand when that brand is on sale is not large enough to deal with the difficulty for attaching the vinyl to a t-shirt. You end up wasting some material and sometimes ruining a shirt, so the cost savings is lost due to material failure.I make custom aprons and have used thinner vinyl and the black has subdued the orange color in the past with the thinner vinyl. This vinyl is thicker and is way more vibrant on darker fabrics. The thickness tends to make weeding a little bit of a pain. I use Non-Cricut Vinyl, More Pressure, for my settings and have had zero issues. If I did higher production the weeding would really bog things down, but if I did higher production I would probably change over to pre-print silk transfers.I hate this! It couldn’t stick to the mat. It melted on my shirt when I had the heat press on the setting I would use any other htv on. Don’t waste your money. It’s horribleIt was just what I wantedSiser is my go to but I needed vinyl ASAP & this brand was the fastest delivery option available. The color is Kelly green NOT hunter green. The vinyl doesn’t stick to the (brand new) mat for cutting so I had to tape it down. The transfer/adhesive side doesn’t stick to the shirt before pressing either. Don’t waste your $$I'm a newbie at this and feel like I need an in person teacher to talk me through it - it's so complicated! But I found this very easy to use, it stayed adhered to the sweatshirt I made with no curling edges and it was very easy to weed. After my first project, I started looking at everything as potential for Enhancement by Cricut. Is that normal?I’m new to using a Cricut and heat transfer vinyl (HTV). I chose this bright red roll for a Christmas T-shirt project because of the amount of vinyl included. Overall, I’m happy with it.As a beginner, I really appreciated the clear, well-written, English instructions that came with the roll. The pictures helped me understand how the carrier/liner and vinyl work together and how to get the best cut.The vinyl is quite thin, so it cut easily. Nevertheless, the piece did curl up off the mat even though the mat was brand new and plenty sticky. Weeding wasn’t too bad either, despite some intricate edges. The color is just as pictured, but the finish is glossy, not “matte.”The vinyl adhered to a 100% cotton shirt well, but some of the black shirt shows through the red. Chances are my iron was too hot. All in all, it’s a good bright red that looks sharp, cut well, and adhered easily. As mentioned, I have never used anything like this before, so I am not sure of its full market value. The online price of almost $29 for a five yard roll seems a bit high, but I am a cheapskate. Still, it made some cute T-shirts, so I am happy.
