As pearlescent pigments are semi-translucent, the base color significantly influences the final appearance. Note that the pigment shade may look lighter or darker in the jar before being applied to the right base.
Pearl Paint for Cars Follow these three steps to use Didspade's Pigments for automotive applications 1. Start with the recommended base coat. 2. Mix the Pearl powder with intercoat clear or clear binder and apply 3 coats over the base. 50 grams will mix 1 ready to spray gallon (or each 25 gram package will mix 2 quarts ready to spray). 3. Finish with a UV-protected clear.
