These lego creator series kits are lots of fun and this one is no exception. It instructs you on how to build a very big dragon and even has moving parts on the final creation. Overall every lego kit is fun, even if its just a house on a regular street it can be fun. Maybe that house reminds you of where you grew up, or where you favorite aunt used to live something as simple as rehashing a good memory is enough to make a lego set go from fun to fantastic. Every little boys and girl had legos growing up one way or the other, we had them as kids and always kept a massive bucket of mixed up legos so you could just dump it out and go nuts for hours on end. I dont think they make just a regular dump and play kit with random legos in it, but one thing i do hate about these kits is that once you tear open the bags you are screwed, so we started putting them all in gallon resealable bags as soon as we open them that way we can label them and put the instruction inside too. This helps to keep it organized and saved barefoot parents from a late night stone bruise from what should bend under the pressure of a 160 lb adult but instead seems to get stronger the more pressure you put it under kind of like diamonds. there you have it ladies and gents the only substance harder than diamonds, lego bricks underfoot of a sleepy grown up.Of course Lego suggests projects on their app when you finish building one. This was suggested and my son wanted it. Retired meant google which lead me to this and it was perfecthonestly had this not been missing two piece it would have been my favorite set ever! My daughter kept asking me to make a dragon out of our legos. Try as I might to come up with one I just couldn't so I caved and bought the kit. I was so excited. My four year old...not sure. I'm annoyed that there were two missing pieces but luckily I was able to improvise using pieces we already had. I have high expectations of Lego - so a little disappointed but love it nevertheless. Oh, the articulations stay put pretty well so you can pose it all sorts of different ways. Very cool! This lego set is really good and It Is really easy to take apart andI love, love love Legos! I never played with them as a child, but I've discovered as an adult that they're a fun, creative way to decompress and lower stress. I also happen to love dragons, so this particular set is really fun. I like the creator sets because you can make more than one thing. I have 5 or 6 different sets now, and I'm beginning to see how the different pieces can be used to make other things. I think Legos are a great gift idea for kids of all ages, because they can help develop spacial acuity, dexterity, engineering skills, creativity, and other things that are important, but also because they're just FUN!Outstanding! The dragon is so cool that my daughter won't take it apart to build the other animals. The detail is fantastic. It's roughly the same size as the dragon that came with her 70403 set and so scaled to minifig size but much, much better looking than it's few-piece counterpart. It's very articulated, must be twenty joints that move. They move easily but I'm surprised they are all stiff enough to stay where placed. No loose or floppy connections because Lego builds the molds to very precise engineering and holds their product to very tight quality control, especially since these are only toys. Plenty of manufacturers in other industries could take a lesson. My 5yr old son is a huge Lego fan! This was the first Lego Creator we purchased for him and even I love it. Other Lego sets are just basic and only 1 build design. I love how this offers 3 different builds in 1. I never played with Lego when I was a kid, so this is awesome to me. It says for ages 7-12..but my son is 5 and I never have to help him build any Lego set, no matter the age recommendation. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase and my son is as well! If you have a die hard Lego fan, you have to buy a Lego Creator set..your kids will love you forever!I bought this for my son's 6th birthday, and he just loved it. He is on the autism spectrum, and building this little kit kept him still, interested and content for hours, and to this day he takes it to bed at night. We have not yet tried the snake or scorpion, but this was well worth the time and money for as much happiness that it brought. If you have a youngster who likes dragons/dinosaurs/legos in general, this is worth picking up. The dragon stands about 6 in. high and maybe 8.5 in long. 100% worth it, I just wish there were more like it.Love legos...always great qualityBought this for my 4 yr old as he loves building things.Always so many choices and the price was greatFast shippingMy grandson is a great fan of Lego.that's all he plays with and he absolutely loved this particular one.it was easy to assemble.great choiceCe modèle est vraiment bien fait et très facile à monter. Le rapport quantité/prix est excellent et mon fils de 5 ans l'adore! Je le conseille à tous les parents qui veulent offrir des légos à leur enfant. The 10 year old boy I gave it to loved it. He has it set up in his room as part of a huge scene. This made birthday present shopping so easy for me!My 9 year old son loves his new lego set!
