Durable and fits properlyIt's cheap and does the jobMy son doesn't like the bath at 18 mos, so I let him stand in the tub with the water running while I scrub him down. I bought this to keep him from pulling the shower knob up--to keep from dowsing me and from scaring him. I was disappointed to discover that there is a slit in the top that allows access to the shower knob. However, with a little adjustment, it works just fine. I realized when I received it that that real purpose was to keep little heads from bonking on the water spout. The hole in the bottom is sufficient enough that I can let the water run through but twist the top just enough to make the shower know less interesting to my son. I like that is it inflatable in case I want to travel with it. Easy to clean. Easy to get on and off. Bright and colorful. Only reason I took away a star is because of the shower know. For something touted as a "cover", I expected it to cover everything but the water coming out. I think the product description doesn't really make this obvious. This thing is great. I looked at so many more expensive covers for the bathtub faucet and am so glad I went with this. It fit snugly and provided all the protection we needed so my toddler could finally swim to the other side of the tub and I didn't have to worry about her whacking her head on the faucet. Save your money and just get this thing. It's not fancy, but does exactly what it says it will do.This is a relatively cheap product, but honestly, it does what it needs to do. My son once scratched his back on the spout, so I bought this, and for just a few bucks, it hasn't been an issue since. I've had it for a few months and haven't had to reinflate it at all. I've had to slightly adjust it on the spout but it only takes a second. The price was so cheap ( like $3) and it works great in our bathroom tub.The first spout cover I received worked perfectly. It inflated easily, provided a nice, cushiony cover for the sport and it didn't lose much air at all over the course of 6 months. I was utterly impressed for the price, so we ordered another one for the in-laws house. The new one showed up and I almost lost a lung trying to inflate it. After 30 minutes of pulling material, squishing the nozzle this way and that, and huffing and puffing, I came to the conclusion I got a dud. It simply wasn't going to inflate. Hopefully everyone else will have better luck. The bottom line though, is for the price, it's worth the gamble. After 2 months of 3 baths/showers per day it is like new. Our faucet has a pull-thing to turn shower on, near the wall end of the faucet. It slips easily over. To run the faucet for a bath I sometimes have to pull the cover upward, or the water runs down the tub wall. No big deal. I haven't had to reinflate. After 2 mos use I removed it and found a small amount of mildew in the inside creases. It washed easily with shower spray cleaner. I can deal with doing that every month or 2. Most important, my really active tub swimming son doesn't get hurt on the faucet. My grandkids bath at my home all the time, and they always stand-up in the tub. My plumbing hardware is contemporary and on a stand alone tub, with sharp edges. Basically, its a matter of time that they hit their head on the taps or whatnot. I bought this inflatable piece which fits over the water spout, but it fits poorly. The Spout is rectangular and these are meant for round spouts. I jam it up there and it stays for the duration of the bath which is about 30 minutes. Its better than nothing. If you have a round spout it should do the job nicely. It fills with air, seems to hold it from bath to bath, and is fun looking toy as well. The kids may want to take it off the spout and play with it, thats the only problem.
