This yarn isn't REALLY as jumbo as they make it sound but it is good yarn. I'd say it is similar to the Bernat mega yarn. The red heart Irresistable yarn is REALLY jumbo (with a price tag that matches)....I bought 15 skeins of this and to hand crochet a chunky throw blanket I used 3 strands at once. It's very soft and the colors are gorgeous. You will see I posted a pic of the blanket crocheted with this yarn (the blue, pink, and light green) and a second picture of a blanket crocheted in the same way with ONE strand of the Irresistable yarn (the gray black and white one)Let me add that at this price using three strands of this yarn at once still comes out cheaper than the one strand of the larger yarn. Plus the Irresistable yarn sheds and this Boulevard yard does not!This yarn is so soft and the color is vibrant. I ordered the "Gallery" color, and it was much more purple than I anticipated (I expected more blue), which is why I took away a star. I purchased this yarn to make a scarf as a Christmas gift, and I am very happy with the result! Two spools = one infinity scarf. If this is your purpose, however, I would get three spools to be safe.In the end I am happy and would definitely order again. Can't beat the price!I wanted to make a collapsible bag that would be sturdy enough to hold yarn or toys but still be able to carry it to a craft fair. This yarn was easy to work with and met my needs. I did not have to double up on the yarn. I have made a few of these baskets/bags in different colors for my Etsy shop (Sharon Chic Boutique).Love this yarn! It's a bulky yarn like roving wool yarn and perfect for making those bulky yarn projects. I got this to use with my Zippy loom to make a shawl and it came out perfect and took me less than a day to make (about 2-2 1/2 hours total). I can see using this yarn to arm or finger knit also. Thank you to the reviewer who said this is the same color as blue jeans - very apt description and the deciding factor for my purchase.Super soft and easy to use!
