These jack stands are beefy. I used them on my boat trailer (with boat) and they worked great. Used both stands as I replaced a rusted-out rotor with lots of hammering needed. The stand provide stability and I felt safe using these.Buy these instead, even for a Miata. Once you use a jack stand that gets to useful height without being sketchily wobbly, you'll never go back. Use a low-pro high lift floor jack like the Daytona 3 ton long reach low profile to get yourbroke-down stanced jetta up onto these beasts.Bought these at the lowest price I could find anywhere. I've used them twice to rotate the tires on my Toyota Tacoma and they work very well.Product is well built and of good quality.Product does what it needs to do lifts the car fine with no issues at all. Finally received my full order I like the jacks exactly what I neededI bought four of these to lift a Honda Pilot. I had no issues whatsoever using them with a 2-ton vehicle lifted at four points for an entire day. The materials and construction are very solid. The packing material was great and they arrived undamaged. The adjustment arm/release seems a little sensitive when playing around with the stand, which doesn't inspire incredible confidence, but I have to think that under weight, it locks up tightly.I needed tall jack stands and these fulfilled my needs. Supports the front end of my 67 GTO which is damn heavy. Was working on my car and on one side the release lever stopped working, had to jack the car slightly higher and drag it out to find out that the pin inside the arm of the lever came out on one side. I bought these in November 2016 so they lasted just over a year, just past the warranty period. They also did not get to heavy use, I used them maybe once every other month to do car repairs.I've ordered the 12 ton and it's not the double locking model as described in the feature description - it seems that I received the older model. Ratchet handle on both jacks stand was very hard to open - had to use W40 and a rubber mallet to loosen and get to open and close. Was disappointed. Other than aforementioned issues, 12 ton stands are very sturdy and strong, despite the problematic made in china lack of quality control issues commonly found in the smaller jack stands and the some of automotive tools. FYI, I've have to return my two previous orders (automotive tools) due to poor quality control. Be aware you get what you pay for when buying made in china. However, the 12 tons stands are well constructed. These Jack Stands are good enough for my uses. They seem very well constructed and you can't beat the price, originally I was going to get the 2 Ton Stands...but I opted for the 3 Ton Stands based on their popularity and for the added weight capacity for safety! Quick Delivery. Thanks, Amazon! The jacks have decent quality for this price, have no problem support a 2004 Corolla (around 1.7 ton), and do not sway under load. The part that makes contact with the car frame does get scratched heavy after a few uses, make sure to treat it with rust control after each use.Overall they are a pair of dependable jack stands that you can count on when working under.
