I bought this jacket for $23.00(!) and it's an amazing value for that price. I've only worn it in a drizzle thus far, but the DWR coating worked fine in those conditions. We'll see how the repellency holds up in a hard rain or after a few washings. A few little shortcomings which prevent me from giving it a full 5 stars, despite the price. First, having a liner is nice, particularly at this price. However, the mesh liner material snags easily on the velcro zipper tabs, especially when packing the jacket into its stuff pocket. One can close up all of the velcro tabs before stuffing, but that takes a little time. Second, the bill on the hood is rather short, and I don't have a huge noggin. Third, I think the jacket is mis-sized, although it worked to my benefit in this instance. I am 5'8", 160 lbs, 40" chest, and usually wear a medium jacket. I bought this jacket in "Small" because of the price drop. As it turns out, it probably fits than a Medium. I have plenty of room when wearing this jacket over a shirt. I can easily fit this over a mid-layer fleece, although it hikes up and shortens the sleeves a little. The waist is huge -- laid flat, it is 3 inches wider than my medium mid-layer jackets. Overall, I am happy with the quality of this jacket.
