I just received this Camco cook top which is supposed to be for their "Little Red Campfire". I haven't even used it yet, but I'm already happy. My propane campfire is a "Camp Chef". Actually, I have 2. One is their "Redwood Fire Pit" which I have in the patio. The other is their "Compact Fire Ring" AKA "Portable Fire Ring", which I take with me with my camp trailer. They both have the same diameter propane burner & fire "pit?". Camp Chef doesn't make an accessory like this for theirs so I took a chance that this might work. Well, it does...PERFECTLY! The legs, which are 6" long, are just outside the burner ring & the height is just right. Now it's just up to ME to figure out what works & what doesn't as far as cooking, grilling, etc. It's a very sturdy, well made thing, & the zipper bag is very well made too. I think it's going to last a long time. I was afraid that the legs would be just little dangly wire things, but these swing down easy & stay put without any wobble. I just wish I knew about this a long time ago.SMALL -- this is small and not terribly stableThis cooking grate has been a life saver while camping! Its easy to put on the top of the Little Red Campfire and start cooking right away. Love the carying case that it comes with so you can put it away and the black soot from the fire does not go all over the place! Easy to use and store!CAMPING in Arizona this summer with fire restrictions everywhere. But, I was able to have a campfire with my Little Red propane campfire and was able to use it took cook hotdogs, boil water for coffee and other small, non greasy items.I like being about to camp and have a fire easily and without worrying about gathering wood, letting the fire die down, getting all the embers out, and finally getting into the tent cold and more tired then I want to be, so the campfire is great. And this little addition makes it even better. I can quickly cook over a "fire" turn off the campfire and go for an evening hike. Or in the morning quickly heat up my coffee while enjoying a fire and not have worry about getting it out before going on with my day.The fire does leave soot on the pans, so I use my camping equipment and not my kitchen pots on it.Neat addition to little red campfire. Worked okay but thought it might be more sturdyTo be Honest..... I Only bought the Cook Top for my Little Red, because I frequent campgrounds that don't allow Camp Fires; wood or gas !!!!! BUT they dooooo allow Gas Grills, Gas Stoves, and Gas Cooking appliances. ( Wink, Wink )so I put the cook top on the little red, and plop a tiny tea kettle on it...... and Viola Camp Fire ! ( Instant debauchery )Turned Completely black in its first use. This meant that we had to put it away in its case, which was convenient, very very dirty. However, it helps boil water, and he basic items when your stove may be too windy or out of propane. We really like our fireplace!I bought this so I wouldn't have to bring a stove with me camping. It used WAY to much propane to cook... because it's to high from flamesWorked great for cooking breakfast on my little red fire pit during a fire ban, very handy to haveGood concept, but the slots where the legs are supposed to fit are too small. We'll have to grind them down. Otherwise appears to be made from solid material. It will be great to be able to set a Kettle or a pot to boil over the Little Red Campfire.ideal pour cuisson sur le little red
