This is a blowup float with a fabric covering. The fabric covering has two velcro areas on the seams to allow access to the actual float and air valves. The idea behind it is great but the actual fit is horrible. The valves do not line up with the openings and you have to maneuver things around to get at them. It makes it more difficult when you are trying to fill it and the float is full of air, the valves move out of easy reach. Also, there are these clip things that are attached to the fabric covering that fit through holes in the float, they are designed to keep the fabric in place. the problem again is it is no aligned well with the actual float and causes the float to pucker and bunch up instead of lying flat. I had to deflate the entire thing to access the clips and undo the two in the middle so the float would lay flat. It's a good design in theory but it's not well made in reality.I purchased this specifically for the tougher fabric cover bc my 70 lb dog likes to use floats in our pool. I'm skeptical that this will last all season. I purchased a different float at the same time and it was more money but I feel way more confident that float will last and it is super comfortable. It's the Blue Wave Santa Maria Unsinkable Floating Pool Mattress.I previously purchased a Swimline dog float that claimed it would hold my dog's weight but the sides of it buckled in after only a couple of uses. I don't think I will buy any more products from Swimline.I’ve been buying this inflatable raft for over five years. By far the best that I had ever bought, until this last year. The manufacturing has changed in several ways, for the worse. The inflatable part is not anywhere near as durable as it used to be. Two of the four rafts that I ordered most recently, in July 2022, immediately were compromised and would not hold air even before their first use. I’m very disappointed that a VERY good item is now something I’m not sure I’d buy again….Bought one of these. Came quickly and looked nice and sturdy.Filled it up and within an hour it was partially deflated. Filled it again and same thing. I figured i just got a bad one so i returned it an got another one.Same thing. It seems the problem is with the valve. As you likely know, you pinch the valve to inflate and it closes on itself to keep the air in. Apparently the valve on this on doesn't close properly and leaks air. Also, i'm 6'4" and it's a little too small for me. Seems to be the right size for my wife though. There are several places that need to be inflated. I bought this for my husband. He is about 5'11 300lbs for reference. It is a bit too small for him so I gave it a try. I an 5'10 190lbs. It sits you up and it comfortable but it leans you forward. We tried removing some of the air and adjusting air here and there and just eh.This chair is great when inflated but doesn't seem to hold the air. Everyday we have to add air that's a pain. Its durable fabric and hold a lot of weight just disappointed we have to keep inflating. Not sure I would spend this much for it again.I bought one of these floaties last year. I filled it with air once, and it seems like it hasn’t lost a smidgen of air over the course of a whole year! I left it out in the elements for a year, and it’s very faded and a couple areas have minor tears, but that’s my bad for leaving it outside for a year. Regardless, this floatie is still kicking and with that in mind, and the comfort level, I would give it a 5.Flash forward to this year (2022). I wanted to replace the old one, only because it was looking pretty trashy. I bought a new one and realized within minutes there was a major leak in the biggest part of the floatie. If it was almost any other part (and there are 6-7 parts to the floatie that you blow up separately) I could have lived with it. So I returned it and bought yet another one. It, too, has a leak in the same part of the floatie, but it’s a much smaller leak and easier to live with.Bottom line: first one, great experience; second and third ones, bad experience. If you buy this I would advise you fill it up completely, let it sit a day or two, see if it has deflated in any way. If not, pool time! If so, return time. I say this because if you want to return it after you tried it out in your pool, it’ll be a pain because you have to wait until it completely dries before packaging it back up.Air mattress leaked upon initial inflation so returned it the next day. What is not obvious from the description is that there is a very well made, durable nylon outer sleeve covering a thin inner vinyl liner. The inner liner has 2 valves of the type used for cheap dollar store beach balls making filling and deflating a major pain. Surprising for such an expensive air mattress.I was a little curious reading in another review how pleased the writer was that it didn't blow out of the pool in strong winds. Huh? Turns out this is because the outer sleeve fills with water and lifting it out of the pool requires a feat of strength. Definitely not what I was expecting...as I said...disappointing.This was my second time purchasing this mattress. The first one lasted a few years. I love the stability and that I'm not submerged in the water while relaxing. I recently purchased my second one and within using it twice, all the buttons on the back (bottom?) broke and popped off. All of them. The mattress still works well but for the price, I would expect it to stay intact longer.Had to patch 2 holes when I got it. The air bags fit into these zippered pockets... I think the zippers then catch and create holes. Its also a very "upright" seat. If you like to lay back, you need to let the air out of the second airbag on the back.I spent the extra dough on this hoping it wasn't one that I'd always have to be patching or filling with air.Not worth spending the extra money on this. Its just the same as the rest.I am really not impressed with this chair. There were something like six different chambers to hunt down (the nib) and inflate. Oh brother!! I wish there was just one. It's just okay ... but I really don't think it is worth the price I paid ... maybe worth about 1/2 of what I paid. I wouldn't recommend. One could find a much better quality chair for the $70.00 price tag. I bought two, but didn't even bother to blow up the 2nd one; I think I will send it back ... not worth the trouble.Product was difficult to inflate and is not holding air well. The fabric cover appears to be good quality. It is not very comfortable because there is no lower back support and the bumper that should sit under your knees ends up under your upper thighs and I am not a tall person. Cup holder is too small. Paid $215 for this product and don't feel it should be in that price range for what it is.
