This whisk is very well made. Unlike most silicone-coated wire whisks I've found on Amazon, this one is sealed where the wires enter the stainless steel handle. This prevents water from getting trapped in the handle and later trickling into your Béarnaise. The whisk has a nice feel to it. The stainless steel handle gives it just the right weight. It feels like a professional kitchen tool. No plastic junk here.
