Great for separating kernels from popped corn!Perfect size for sharing. I like concept of the grate on the bottom to sort the unopposed kernels but in actuality it got in the way when I tossed the popcorn to spread the toppings. I just don’t use the grate. We have a Presto air popper that is about 18 years old, and when we popped popcorn, it would blow everywhere. This tub fits it perfectly. It is easy to clean and the strainer at the bottom does a decent job of filtering out unpopped kernels. That being said, the one we received has the strainer. I don't know who the supplier is that must be removing them that people are complaining about. If if have any comments about this product, it's that I wish they made a larger model! We love popcorn!I just got them and they super cute but one of them is missing the kernel catcher. For Large Hutzler Popcorn Bucket:- The Great: This is a perfect sized bowl to hold two 3.0+ oz bags of microwave popcorn.- The Bad (minus 2 Stars): the Kernel Catcher does not stay "snapped" in place. There are tiny ridges near the bottom of the bowl that are suppose to hold the catcher in place - I guess. Sometimes I can hear the snap when I insert the catcher. But it doesn't matter. When I shake the bowl to distribute salt or butter the catcher comes loose and goes diagonal instead of laying flat. It defeats the purpose completely.Note: I bought this in a "Used - Like New" condition for about a 3rd the normal price. So maybe mine is somehow defective. But looking at it, I don't see how it would ever snap in place securely and remain properly attached.Note 2: If all you want is a nice sized bowl for popcorn, then it is perfect. I would buy again for that purpose alone - but not at full retail price. You most certainly won’t regret itI got this as a gift for my 88-year-old dad because he loves popcorn! It’s his own special popcorn bowl! He enjoys that it has a kernel catcher and said that was “cool!”Perfect for the 100 calorie bag size or to share a standard bag with someoneMuch smaller than expected, doesn't hold very much popcorn even for one person. Not good value for money. It's a big bucket that holds a lot of popcorn. The raised bottom that traps the kernels is valuable, but doesn't get them all, and can come loose, which frees the trapped kernels back into the popped mix. But that's OK. I think most of us who like popcorn can deal with kernels in the mix.I have only one big complaint: because it's big, the chute on my popcorn maker sits so close to the rim of the bucket that the yellow strip at the top has melted from the heat of popping, leaving me with a sticky strip that feels like fly paper. It's a drooping, gooey mess full of fingerprint indentations. So now, when I make popcorn, I have to stand the popcorn maker on a couple of books so the chute is away from the rim, and the heat doesn't destroy more of the plastic trim. Oy!I bought this for decoration. It looks like on the picture. For the rest...I mean it's a bowl, and you put popcorn in it. Works fine.Pratique pour les soirées en famille devant un bon film a télévision et surtout les morceaux de popcorn qui n'ont pas éclaté se retrouve dans le fond du récipient. format idéal pour les enfants.Love this bucket except for one fault. The bottom should be as wide as the top because as it is, popcorn cannot be stirred fully to incorporate the butter evenly. I found this very difficult to do and dumped everything but the kernels in a wide bottom bowl in order to distribute the butter. Doing it this way did not work as well as adding the butter earlier in a wider bottomed bowl. The kernels do fall to the bottom as advertised and this a great plus.
