First off, let's deal with the elephant in the room - this bag is tiny. I mean, almost comically tiny. I'm about 6'1" and 220 lbs, and this is almost like a clown accoutrement. However, that being said, it's just about right for what I needed. I wanted something for my bugout bag that wasn't 10 times too big. Now, my bugout bag doesn't have to last me three days in the mountains of Afghanistan, or conceal an M4 Carbine and 20 magazines of ammunition - it's just a few basic essentials that I might need if I ever found myself in a situation where I was on my own to get somewhere safe. It's kind of a Micro-BOB, if you will.And for that, this bag is perfect. I was a little worried what I was going to get for the price. I've got some Maxpedition and 5.11 products, and I have to say, they may cost 5 times what this bag did, but they're in no way 5 times better. This is an impressive little pack for the twenty bux it cost me. It seems heavy duty, well made, with good stitching and a lot of nice pockets and pouches. Zippers work smoothly, and there's plenty of adjustability in the straps.No, it's probably never going to have a military NSN number, and you won't see U.S. Navy SEALS carrying this on covert ops, but it's a well made pack with a lot of useful potential.
