I love this backpack. granted, I only had it for 3 days now, and so far I can already say what I like and don't like. first off, I was a little disappointed that the olive drab is actually more of a dark army forest green. the backpack IS the one pictured, but the one in the picture is way lighter in color. hopefully it fades over time.my other gripe is that they seem to have overdone whatever chemicals it has been treated with. (waterproofing maybe?) the chemical odor is so strong it stings my eyes just from opening it. I noticed a horrible chemical taste in my mouth and finally i realised it's from the lip of my water bottle rubbing up against the side of the backpack. I've been stuck in a cycle of trying to wash the taste out of my mouth with the same water bottle that keeps adding more chemical taste. anyways.. just something to be aware of. my whole room smells like chemicals from this bag.all that being said, those are "issues" that will probably be resolved through age. also, maybe you don't care but I did have to trim some of the straps and burn the edges. still better to be too long than too short.on a positive note, the materials are way more rugged and heavy duty than I expected. the inside of the pockets are lined with some kind of rubber that should be extremely water resistant. and it accepts my camelbak perfectly. keep in mind it doesn't come with a water bladder, I already had my own. so far I think this bag is awesome. I saw a video on YouTube where the straps support 300lbs. the quality of this bag is very apparent. if you don't mind some chemical odor then you won't be disappointed in this bag.
