Inter material that lizard skin is bonded to is not leather but some type of composite that does not wear well. Belt holes fray and wear quickly before outer lizard skin even begins to wear.UPDATE: After about a dozen or two uses, I noticed that the area around the belt hole that I use was beginning to crack and tear. Then after each subsequent use, more cracking occurred at each other belt hole in the vicinity of the one I normally use. Now, I find that the belt is almost not wearable due to these ugly black cracks. Definitely not a product that I would recommend due to its very short lifespan.This was a gift. Great value for price. Lots of color choices. Easy to adjust sizing.
