I bought 3 packs and still have about a pack and a half left over. I counted them after I was finished and have about 105-106 locs on each side of my head, so 210-212 total. They're VERY long so it helped that I cut some strands in half to shorten the length and create more. The install took awhile because I did it over time, about 5-6 months to be exact and made sure to take my time so I was satisfied with the outcome. They don't have loops so i locked or braided my natural hair and interlocked the extensions in. The interlocking method worked just fine, they hold up during washing and styling, which is important considering I can be very rough with my hair and it gets heavy when wet. I gradually interlock my new growth and cut the extensions as my real hair grows and I absolutely love it. Best purchase I've ever made and I'm even thinking about buying more in different colors to make an ombre effect at the ends. I was weary at first because they are synthetic, but my hair has been growing surprisingly fast since the install, I can just wash it and go if I'm in a hurry, it doesn't collect or have lint stick to it as easily as my natural locs and it looks natural.
